From Tongue to Tail - Wisdom of the Ouroborus Continuum Movement Intensive

The Ouroboros - the eternal return - represents one of the most profound symbols of the basic cosmology of ALL THAT IS. What has been handed down to us is the mystery of a serpent encircling the world while swallowing its own tail. Carl Jung had referred to this metaphor as “Mysterium Coniunctionus”, where just as the sperm swoons into the egg one life ends as another begins. By means of unique Continuum movement and sound sequences, we initiate a sensate diving into the waters of our bodies. There an extraordinary journey into the fullness of what it means to be alive can start to unfold. This fullness engages the entire body, is potentially highly erotic and feels immensely nourishing and satisfying.
A sophisticated preparation of the tissue as well as the activation and inclusion of the tongue leads up to a subtle closing of the circuit between its tip, the central meridian and the pineal gland.
It is a work that invokes the unconscious wisdom of the body and the soul. Through sensations, feelings and images we come into contact with our individual medicine – information that our rational mind doesn’t normally have access to, that only afterwards integrates with cognitive understanding. The deep, conscious penetration of the body connects us to our resources and to processes of pleasurable self-regulation.
We may experience the connection to our bio-lineage and how it is layered into the intricacies of our human form. A deep simultaneous sense of embededness, transcendence and inclusion, yet very clear contours of a distinct, whole self emerge.
Extreme reduction of speed, preverbal sound stimulation and surrender to bio-intelligent movement are prerequisites to passing the threshold from the rational mind to the Eros of wholesome healing and creativity.
To also engage the cognitive mind, the experiential part of the first four days will be preceded by various discourses on the connection and interplay between consciousness, the spine, the tongue, DNA, wisdom traditions and history.
